How to Whois a Domain easily using Chrome?

If you do domain whois search alot, apply these steps on your chrome to save more time.

      1. Open your Chrome Browser.

     

      1. Go to chrome://settings/searchEngines

     

      1. Scroll down to where you see “Site search” header and “Add” Button. (see image)

     

     

    1. Fill up the fields like this as shown on image and click “Add/Save” and we are done.
            • Search engine: CLDY Whois
            • Shortcut: whois
            • URL with %s in place of query: https://www.cldy.com/whois/?domain=%s

           

 

The shortcuts is ready for use! Type this to use : whois <space> domain.com
