How to Backup my Emails in Mac Mail Client?

Mac OS can be tricky, especially if you have been used to Windows. But what’s good is if you have other Apple devices, because it helps you get used to the Mac interface. The best part is linking your information to and from your Apple devices is a breeze, especially when you have a 24/7 lifestyle where you need access to your emails and messages as much as possible.

If you have Outlook instead, we can teach you here how to backup your emails on Outlook.

In this article, let us help you backup your emails linked to your Apple Mail:

  1. Open Mail from your desktop (Dock).

  2. Your email should automatically load up.

Right-click on the email folder you wish to backup, and click on Export Mailbox.

  3. You will be prompted to select a folder where you will backup your emails.

From there, you can access your backups, and repeat this process as necessary to make sure your backups are always updated.
